General Guidelines for Harvesting Herbs

this may not be much, but I was thinking about this the other day. I like to braid necklaces and bracelets using whatever is handy. Including paper, pine needles, string of all sorts and etc. But the craft is making braids for whatever you may find use for. For example it can be used for a ritual dealing with something needed of your essence so to speak, a bookmark in your spell book or BoS, or even to help tie up your hair. The possibilities are endless. I tend to use mine for keeping my pen attached to my folders to write whenever I go hiking. All you basically need is some long rawhide or hemp string(colors vary) and at least use 3 of them to braid together. Tie the 3 of them in a knot of some sort and start braiding, just like you would someones hair. Once you have a length that you want then you would tie the other end into a know like when you started. There can be various additions you could use as well. Like wooden beads or charms and the like. I find that this helps with patience and dexterity as well. Trust me it will make you feel a lot better after all of the hard work that you put into it and it’s something that you can use for a long time. Enjoy!
