Instead of our typical attempts to outsmart the universe, mindfulness is a humbling process of surrender and gratitude.

Cultivate space, endless space, around your thoughts and feelings.  Allow your spirit to inhabit your body fully.  Don’t buy into self-defeating storylines and beliefs.  Don’t try to force yourself to see the positive in life or repeat useless affirmations that you have no innate connection with.

Instead, taste the perfection of this moment as it is. If you can feel in your bones that you are fundamentally OK and that life is precious, you will attract much more meaningful relationships with people, better health, more fulfilling work and more prosperity on all levels of being.  That is the power of mindfulness.

This is something I have found highly versatile, and useful, that I learned to craft a few years ago. It leaves one with a nasty headache, though that usually fades quickly, when first working with, and can be hard to focus on. However, if you can learn it, it’s very handy.

Infinity chains, as I call them, are very simple in design-it’s exactly what it sounds like, an unending (Self looping if you need it to be ended, just connect start and finish) chain of infinity symbols.

To me, they always glow gold, with the energy of strength and wisdom, and I find it easiest to start by drawing an overlapping infinity symbol (sideways figure eight) on paper to get the motion of the casting down. Once that is done, keep that sense of constant movement and sink into a trance, as light or heavy as you need.

In trance, let your body move as your hand was, and picture those infinity symbols forming in an unending chain, one linked to the previous and the new one being woven, without end until you have the desired length. Each day this week, I’ll post a new way I’ve used them, in varying degrees of difficulty that I’ve found.

I like these, because of the strength, in both what they represent and in the casters strength, and because you can turn them into anything, even going so far as to weaving elements into them (later day) or using htem to weave protections into a jewlery pieces or tool that you’re crafting. (also a later day) For now, simply work on creating those chains, and keep them, learn to link them.
