Pagan 20 Questions, found on Sunfire’s blog on CS
1) How did you come by your craft name?
I don’t really have one. I use Summer Sunshine on a lot of pagan sites because I’m quite a fan of summer & sunshine, especially the 2 put together
Thinking about the name brings warm memories of camping & going to Six Flags, hehe. Otherwise, when I was younger, the name Meredith always stuck out to me as being a craft-y name. I don’t know why; it just did, and still kinda does. Madeline, kind of too.
2) Are you a morning or evening person?
Evening, definitely. I do enjoy all times, but I really hate getting up early to go to work. I appreciate spring/summer mornings, with their coolness, calmness, dew on the ground, & occasional fog over the fields. I appreciate spring/summer afternoons for their excitement & sunshine. And I appreciate all evenings for their lack of cars on the road & awesome tv shows, lol.
3) Do you feel you have a past connection with the Fae?
No. I just think the idea is really cool, hehe. As well as the glittery pictures found of faeries online.
4) Do you have an Animal Spirit Guide?
I’m keeping the idea in mind, but I haven’t really connected with any particular animal yet. I like the idea of animal totems, though. Looking at an animal as a spirit guide for certain situations. I’ve had a couple of animals come to me during meditations - siberian huskey & deer - I haven’t figured out their role in my life yet, though.
5) Have you ever had a vision?
Only during meditations.
6) Path or Tradition?
Path, with some traditional influences here & there.
7) Do you use magick in your daily life or ritual? If so, what do you do?
Not particularly. I consider focused meditation a means of magick. So, in that sense, I haven’t performed any magick since the full moon. Though, I do try to take a peek outside to connect with nature once or twice during the day (more often when there’s sunshine & less snow, hehe). I also try to practice yoga & meditate every night, as well.
8) Your favorite time of year?
Spring and Summer. Sunshine, & nature’s living stages make me shine
9) Your personal Interests?
Internet, yoga, crochet, writing, painting, other random crafts, my lovey
10) Your favorite hobbies or crafts?
Wasting time online. Crochet. Painting. Cooking.
11) Who would you most care to communicate with that has passed on?
My mum. To know if I’m still a good girl without her direct guidance *modest smile*
12) Where would you like to be right now?
Sitting in my woods in the summer
13) If you could change one thing in your past, what would be?
I would’ve been more talkative with my mum while she was sick, & less resistent to the inevitable. My father wasn’t quite the best influence on me. :/
14) What is your Spiritual Quest in this lifetime?
Not sure; but I’d like to work on figuring it out.
15) Do you believe that the world as we know it will end in 2012?
Well, of course the world will change dramatically in the meantime, but I highly doubt the planet’s gonna implode or anything like that. Though, the way the war is going, we might all blow each other up by then. :/
16) What plant would you wish to be reborn as? What animal? What element?
A plant- a very pretty, flowering tree. Animal- some type of bird that flies, hehe. Element- air.
17) If you could save one possession from a fire, what would you grab? This does not include people or critters.
My laptop. It’s probably the most useful (& expensive!) thing I own.
18) What is the one thing in your life you would never want anyone to know about?
I don’t really have secrets all like that…
19) If the person you hated most on earth was drowning, would you reach out your hand to save them? Why?
I don’t really hate anyone. I dislike my ex more than everyone else I know, though. Would I save him? Yea, I guess. Would I hang out with him after saving him? No, lol. I’d probably do it just because he’s an intelligent individual & could have the potential to do something good for the world…if he could just dislodge his head from his ass, lol.
20) After you pass on from this life, tell us now, what have you learned?
Love for everyone & everything has boundless advantages to how peacefully life is lived.
